Refunds

We handle refund requests with flexibility while protecting the time and expertise our team invests in your financial matters.

  • Cancellation Within 24 Hours: If you cancel a service within 24 hours of purchase and before any work has begun, you qualify for a full refund.
  • Cancellation After 24 Hours: Requests made after 24 hours are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We may offer a partial refund depending on the circumstances and the amount of work already completed.
  • Service Not Rendered: If we are unable to provide the agreed-upon service, you are entitled to a full refund for the unperformed portion. Any work already completed will be billed at our standard hourly rate.

To request a refund, please email our customer support team at contact@hawaiitaxlady.com. Include your order details, invoice number (if available), and the reason for your request. Approved refunds are typically processed within 10 business days via the original payment method.

Cancellations

We want to make cancellations as simple as possible while respecting our team’s scheduling and preparation time.

  • Cancellation Deadline: Cancellation requests must be submitted before we begin work on your service (for example, before your tax return preparation starts or bookkeeping setup is underway).
  • How to Cancel: Contact us at contact@hawaiitaxlady.com with your order details and reason for cancellation.
  • Refund Eligibility: Refunds for cancellations follow the guidelines outlined in the Refunds section above.

Please note: Failure to cancel before work begins may result in reduced or forfeited refund eligibility, as we will have already committed resources to your file.

Important Notes

  • All refund and cancellation decisions are made fairly and in good faith.
  • We do not issue refunds for completed services, IRS or Hawaii Department of Taxation filings that have already been submitted, or situations where you simply change your mind after significant work has been performed.
  • Fees for services involving General Excise Tax (GET) registration, business setup, or payroll processing may have additional considerations once filing or registration steps are initiated with state or federal agencies.
